| Trip Overview: |
This two weeks tour will take you to the most important
historical and modern cities in China. You will visit the major tour
sites, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City in Beijing,
Terra-cotta Warriors in Xian, the Oriental TV Tower in Shanghai and
many beautiful classical gardens in Suzhou & Hangzhou which
enjoy the name of "Paradise on earth". |
Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Upon your arrival, be met
& transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 (B, L, ) Beijing Full day trip to
the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the
Peking Opera Show in the evening.
- : The largest city square in the world. - : The largest imperial palace in China
during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600
years. - : The place where
the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole
nation.
Day 3 (B, L, D ) Beijing Full day trip
to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck
Banquet for dinner.
- : One
of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China. - : The only underground tomb of the thirteen
tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty. - : The way guarded on both sides with stone statues by
which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the
ancestors.
Day 4 (B, L, ) beijing/ Xi'an Transfer
via: PM flight Visit Hutongs by rickshaw. Take afternoon flight to
Xi'an.Once upon you get to Xi'an, be met & transferred to your hotel
in Xi'an.
- : The old narrow paths
where common people lived. All the Hutongs crisscross with each other,
dotted with the Kindergarten, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Tea
House, and the lake, House of Gong Infant and local people's houses among
them.
Day 5 (B, L, ) Xi'an Visit the
Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda.
Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
- : The greatest archaeological
findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze
chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb. -
: The emblem of Xian city. -
: An extension of the old
Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives
through Chinese long history. - The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk
Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. - : The show that presents the palace
dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the
capital.
Day 6 (B, L, ) Xi'an /
Shanghai Transfer via: PM flight Visit the Provincial Museum, the
Ancient City Wall and the Hanyang Tomb. Take afternoon flight to Shanghai
Hongqiao airport. Arrive at Shanghai. Be met & transferred to the
hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest
of the day.
- : One of
the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics
of China. - : The Jing
Emperor's tomb in Han Dynasty which was opened in 2001 and is famous for
its rich collections of different kinds of tombs.
Day 7 (B, L, ) Shanghai Tour to the
Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden,Yu Market & Jade Buddha
Temple.
-: the former foreign
settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial
period. -Nanjing Road: the busiest shopping street in
Shanghai. -: It is characteristic of
the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty and it used to be a private
garden with 400 years' history. In front of the garden, there is a market
called Yu Market. -: It is
one of the main tourist highlights of Shanghai and it's also the most
famous active temples in China. if you're lucky, you can watch the monks
serving a ceremony in a side room.
Day 8 (B, L, ) Shanghai Tour to
Shanghai Museum, Jade carving factory, Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Lunch will
be Tiemuzhen Mongolian BBQ, Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
-: The biggest museum in China, with a
collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics.
The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics,
paintings, and calligraphy. -: Where tourists can see the whole process of jade
carving. -: Standing by
the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the
highest TV Tower in Asia.
Day 9 (B, L, ) Shanghai /
Suzhou Transfer via: AM Train(shanghai/Suzhou) (about 1hour) PM
train (suzhou/Shanghai)(about 1hour) Take am train with soft seats to
Suzhou from Shanghai. Cruise on the Grand Canal. In the afternoon, visit
the Humble Administrator's Garden & Lingering Garden. In the evening,
take pm train with soft seats back to Shanghai.
-:The Grand Canal ranks alongside the Great
Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is
the longest man-made waterway in world. Cruising on the Canal,you can see
the local people' life. -: The garden is the best representative of Chinese classical
gardens,constructed in the Ming dynasty. Focused on a central pond with
pavilions, terraces, chambers, and towers located nearby, the garden is
divided into three parts: the eastern, middle and western
parts.- -: Suzhou is famous for
its the Gardens. Lingering Garden is an elaborate succession of small
gardens. Lingering in the garden you would marvel at this unique
architecture art.
Day 10 (B, L, ) Shanghai /
Hangzhou Transfer via: AM Train (shanghai/Hangzhou)(about
2.5hrs) Take morning train with soft seats to Hangzhou. Be met &
have city tours to West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak, Six Harmonies
Pagoda & Tea Plantation Farm.
-:Lying on the west edge of Hangzhou city, West Lake is the
symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in
China. -: situated in front of
Lingyin Temple, is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist
figures, which dated back from the 10th to 14th centuries. -: Lingyin Temple is one of the ten most
famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist
literature and treasures. -:Highly erected by the Qiantang River and to the south of the
West Lake, it is a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in the
ancient China. It was first built in 970 AD in the Northern Song dynasty
(960-1127). The name "six harmonies" comes from the six Buddhist
ordinances, meaning "harmonies of the heaven, earth, east, west, south and
north".
Day 11 (B, L, ) Hangzhou / Shanghai On
day visit to the Wuzhen(about 50 minutes driving).Drive to Shanghai in the
afternoon.
--: A small town with the
history of 1200 years, with its black tiled, tung oil painted timber
framework houses, that contrast sharply with its white walls and gray
flagging, brings to mind a Chinese ink and wash painting.
Day 12 (B, ) Shanghai Transfer via:
International flight depart Shanghai-On your own arrangement. Be met
& transferred to Shanghai Pudong airport for your flight to your next
destination. Service Ends.

This trip price
