Home > Feedback From The Customers Dear Peter Xie, How time flies! We are now home and sharing our China travels with all our friends. We had a fantastic time and want to thank you all very much. Your services in Shanghai for two days are in general good, and our guide and driver, Jerry and Mr. John(Or maybe Zhang), were very nice. Both of them were prompt, cheerful and knowledgeable. The Meals and service at the Crowne-Plaza Hotel were excellent. In fact, the level of service was the best of all our accommodations. And its location is perfect for strolling in the evenings and getting to the famous BUND. Shanghai is a fascinating city and we were very comfortable getting around on our own. Our guide and driver in Xian were waiting for us at the Xian airport. We were with them for nearly 5 days. They both were outstanding. Xiao Li(our guide) is hardworking, thorough and dedicated to ensuring that his clients have a good time and learn about the history of China. He had good stories to make the history come alive. Mr. Gong is an excellent driver, even in the hustle and bustle of Xians streets of cars, cabs, bicycles, motorbikes and carts and we always felt safe and comfortable. He also showed great caring by getting out of the van at every stop to assist my family and me. My husband and son saw a motorcycle market one morning and they arranged a stop there at the end of the day to accommodate them. I napped in the van! The Tang Dynasty Dinner/Show and the Dumpling Dinner were both marvelous. Xiao Li and Mr. Gong set the standard for the level of service, attention and caring that we came to expect. David Zheng and another Mr. Gong met us at the Guilin airport. David is vivacious and his English language skill is excellent. We loved our time in Yangshuo and would recommend that everyone spend a full day there. The tuk-tuk ride was terrific and on Christmas Day we rented bicycles and hired a guide, Flower, who took us through the most remarkable scenery imaginable. We had planned to bicycle tour on our own, but are so glad we decided to use Flower as our guide. She took us through countryside that we never would have found ourselves. It was absolutely breathtaking! And then, later that afternoon, we all had marvelous foot massages at our hotel, the Yangshuo Paradise Resort. Yangshuo is great place to buy souvenirs and we enjoyed being there on our own to stroll the small town and enjoy the restaurants. The local specialties, drunk duck and rice noodles, were favorites. Our driver in Guilin, Mr. Gong, did not provide the level of service and caring that we received in all the other cities and we would not recommend him. All our flights within China were comfortable and only the first one was late in leaving. All our guides were professional and we got the feeling that they all wanted to make sure that we had a good time. Our meals were delicious and enormous. The only meal that was substandard was the one at Yangshuo. The restaurant was cold, the food was not appealing to us and the rest rooms were extremely dirty and smelled very bad. Every other meal was truly memorable. And every meal that we had on our own, in restaurants or in markets was wonderful. We truly had one of the best vacations of our lives. You made it all easy by taking care of every detail for us. We were met at each airport, taken good care of in each city and then taken back to the airport and seen off to our next city. Thank you so much. We will definitely recommend China as a destination, and your tour service, to all of our friends and acquaintances.
