6 Day Sichuan Tour

Itinerary:

Day01: Arrival in Chengdu
Upon arrival in Chengdu, transfer to hotel. Visit Wenshu Temple. Dinner is one your own.

Day02: Chengdu -Dujiangyan Irrigation System - Mt.Qingcheng - Chengdu
Morning drive(1.5 h) to Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Visit Dragon Subduing Temple(Fu long Guan) and Two-KingTemple(Er Wang Miao). Lunch is arranged in a local restaurant there. Afternoon drive to QingchengMountain which is just 15 KM away from Dujiangyan. Explore and hike the mountain and drive back to your hotel. Dinner is one your own.

Day03: Chengdu - Mt. Emei
Morning drive to Xin Du and visit Divine Light Monastery(Bao Guang Si). Then drive to Guanghan and visit SanxingduiBronzeWareMuseum. After lunch in Guanghan, drive to Leshan to see the world largest sitting Buddha – Leshan Giant Buddha(71 meters high). You will enjoy the Buddha by taking a cruising ship for 30 minutes. Then drive to EmeiMountain. Overnight in Emei. Dinner is one your own.

Day04: Mt.Emei - Chengdu
After breakfast in the hotel, drive up to the mountain. Explore Wan Nian Monastery and Qing Yin Pavilion. Afternoon drive back to Chengdu. Visit Dufu Thatched Cottage and Temple of Marquis Wu(Wu Hou Temple). Drive back to your hotel. Dinner is one your own.

Day05: Chengdu - Dayi - Chengdu
Morning transfer to Dayi county(52 KM ) to visit Liu's manor house. The Liu's Manor-House Museum is located some 52 kilometers from Chengdu. It was built in the late 1900s. It was honored as one of the most important cultural sites by Chinese State Council in 1966. It has reserved complete Chinese manor architecture with lots of daily necessities and documents, which unfold the typical life of Chinese landlord.
Afternoon drive back to Chengdu to visit Sichuan University museum.

Day06: Exit Chengdu
Morning visit to ZhaoJue Temple and Qing Yang Gong, the only Taoest Temple in downtown Chengdu. After lunch, transfer to airport for flight  to your next destination.
