Itinerary:
Day 1 ( )
Arrival in Chongqing from
Hong Kong Morning flight to Chongqing. Arrive at Chongqing. Be met
at the dock & transferred to your ship for your preboarding tonight.
Day 2 (B, L, D ) Yangtze River Departs Chongqing at 0800. Shore
excursion to Fengdu.
Day 3 (B, L, D ) Yangtze River Shore excursion to Shennong
Stream.
Day 4 (B, ) Yangtze River / Yichang/Xi'an Arrives in Yichang at
0800. Be trasfered to the airport for your flight to Xian(The direct
flight is just available on Tue, Thu and Sat. In other days, we will
arrange you to take the bus(4 hours) to Wuhan for your flight to Xi;an).
Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure
for the rest of the day.
Day 5 (B, L, ) Xi'an Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses,
the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in
the evening.
- The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological
findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze
chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb. -
The Bell Tower: The emblem of Xian city. - The Wild Goose Pagoda: The
pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his
classics brought from India. - The Tang Dynasty show: The show that
presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the
capital.
Day 6 (B, L, ) Xi'an / Beijing Transfer via: PM flight Visit
the Provincial Museum, the Ancient City Wall and the Hanyang Tomb. Take
afternoon flight to Beijing.Arrive at Beijing , be met and trasfered to
your hotel.
- The Provincial Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds
numerous unearthed cultural relics of China. - The Ancient City Wall:
An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete
city wall that survives through Chinese long history. - The Hanyang
Tomb: The Jing Emperor's tomb in Han Dynasty which was opened in 2001 and
is famous for its rich collections of different kinds of tombs.
Day 7 (B, L, ) Beijing Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square,
the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show
in the evening.
- The Tian'anmen Square: The largest city square in the world. - The
Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and
Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. - The Temple of
Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's
bless of the whole nation.
Day 8 (B, L, D ) Beijing Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming
Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol
of China. - The Ding Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen
tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty. - The Sacred Road: The way
guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors
went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.
Day 9 (B, L, ) Beijing Visit the Hutongs by rickshaw and Xiushui
Street.
- Hutongs: The old narrow paths where common people lived. All the
Hutongs crisscross with each other, dotted with the Kindergarten, the Bell
Tower, the Drum Tower, the Tea House,the lake, House of Gong Infante and
local people's houses among them. - Xiushui Street: A market near the
embassy area where you can find a number of duplicates of clothing in
traditional Chinese style such as clothes, caps, gloves. Enjoy bargains
with sellers and pleasant surprise of finding a real treasure if you are
lucky enough.
Day 10 (B, ) Beijing / Departure Visit the Summer Palace. Take
afternoon flight to your next destination.
- The Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in
China with a history of over 800 years. Service ends.
