When we say "Plan your own tour", we mean your plan does not have to be specific. What you first do is to send us your basic inquiry including the places (cities, sites), the hotel accommodation, the means of transportation, duration of your stay and meals etc, we will design an itinerary for you. We will first let you have a look at the itinerary to see if it is acceptable or workable. We usually quote the itinerary after we (between you and us) get a "yes" from you.

It is our suggestion that before you send us your inquire, you may go to our "China Map" or "Find your destinations", shown on the right, and try to find out what you can see in the places you are willing to go. And then, you just send us your basic inquire.

• How many people are traveling on this trip, any children under the age of 12?
• Any specific destinations and activities in mind, or would you want us to make suggestions?
• Do you have a specific purpose for this tour or what are you interested in seeing and doing in China?
• What class of accommodations you prefer, luxury, deluxe, or first class? Mode of transportation - air, train, car?
• What do you want to include in the tour package, all the meals, and any special services?

As soon as we receive your request, one of our sales managers will work out a draft itinerary, offering some professional advice if necessary based on what we believe is best and most logical for your travel plan, and send you the itinerary and a price quote( maybe in our next email to you). This is done usually within 24 hours. Once you have made your reservation with Abacus Tour, a detailed day-by-day itinerary will be sent to you.

If you like one of our package tour itineraries but the pre-determined tour dates do not fit in your travel schedule, please let us know. We can arrange to run the tour as a private one according your timetable at a small extra cost.
