Special Offer B: Overland Chengdu - Lhasa

Tibet plateau from Chengdu to Lhasa.

Every year from April to September, it is the best time to travel through some of the most attractive and beautiful
areas in Sichuan and Tibet where you can enjoy the most typical Tibetan culture, life and landscape. With our 4 wheel drive land-cruiser, you start from Chengdu and end in Chengdu after you fly back from Lhasa, we drive you through the Tibet Plateau.

Day01 Arrival in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu, check in at Chengdu Garden City Hotel(3 star). Today's meals are not included.

Day02 Chengdu - Kangding
By 4 wheel drive land-cruiser, we start early in the morning for Ya'an, Luding and Kangding. Kangding is a medium-sized Tibetan town in Sichuan where we spend our first night in Kangding Jiaotong Hotel (3 star),the best hotel found in Kangding. Today's trip covers the attractions of Ngachu Gonpa Monastery,Dordrag Gonpa and Zhara Yutso Lake. Today's driving time is about 6 hours.

Day03 Kangding - Luhuo
Today, we will drive through Xinduqiao,Daohuo and finally arrive in Luhuo.The driving time is about 8 hours today. Kangbei hotel will be the place where you spend your second night,
although the hotel is not fancy enough, it is quite acceptable with hot water for 24 hours. The attractions will be Yerenhai, and Lhagang Monastery.

Day04 Luhuo - Dege
Today's trip also takes about 8 hours. we will drive through Ganzi and spend your third night at Dege.We will see Joro Gongpa Monastery,Kandze Monastery,Den Gongpa Dargye, Yilhun Lhatso lake, Printness press of Dege Pake Hang.

Day05 Dege - Qiamdu
Today, we will cross the boarder of Sichuan and Tibet, passing through Jiangda,Tuoba and arrive in Qiamdu before dinner. Qiamdu hotel will be our accommodation tonight. Today's 
attraction includes Peipung Chokhorling Monastery, Xinlu lake (Mt.Quer).

Day06 Qiamdu
Today's itinerary is not tough, you will enjoy the Kalden Jampaling Monastery in Changdu.You can have a good sleep in Qiamdu hotel tonight.

Day07 Qiamdu - Basu
Passing through Lake Ngan Tso, today's trip includes Xiaya and spend your sixth night in Basu.

Day08 Basu - Bomi
From Basu, you will enjoy the towns of Anjiula,Kangsa and spend your seventh night in Bomi.

Day09 Bomi - Bayi
From Bomi, you will enjoy the towns of Tongmai,Dongjiu,Linzhi and spend your eighth in 
Bayi.Attractions will be Sigyel Gonchen Monastery,Buchu Sergyl Lhakhang.

Day10 Bayi - Langxian
From Bayi, we will go to Langxian and spend your tenth night in Langxian.

Day11 Langxian - Tzedang
From Langxian, we will go to Tzedang where we will visit Yongbulakhang Monastery, Tomb of Tibetan King and Lubu temple. Tzedang hotel is a 3 star hotel where you can enjoy your eleventh night there.

Day12 Tzedang - Lhasa
Today, we will finally arrive in the capital of Tibet---Lhasa. We will visit Samye Temple and Mingzhuling Temple.Tibet hotel in Lhasa city is a 3 star hotel where you can really relax yourself and have a nice sleep.

Day13 Lhasa
Today's program will cover the most important attractions in Lhasa including Potala 
Palace, Jukhang Monastery, Norbulingka Palace and Bakhor market street.

Day14 Lhasa - Chengdu
With fond memory, you will fly back to Chengdu with China South-west Airlines CA4402 taking off at 09:00 AM and arriving in Chengdu at 11:30 AM. Our bus (car) will take you to Chengdu Garden City Hotel. Today's lunch and dinner are not included.

Day15 Exit Chengdu
After breakfast, our service is over.
