This package tour includes Lhasa - Chengdu air tickets, accommodations, meals, local guide service, tour-spot tickets, visa of the special permit to Tibet.

The tour does not include China's airport construction fee which is $ 6 USD p/p per flight, the second gate entrance tickets

Day01: Katmandu – Zhang Mu - Tingri
Depart in the morning for the border of China and Nepal. After finishing the immigration, change the van at the friendship bridge. Continue the trip from Zhang Mu to Tingri, which is about 260 Km and the driving time is about 6 hours.

Day02: Tingri - Shigatse
From Tingri, the second largest city in Tibet called Shigatse is about 330 Km away.It takes about 5-6 hours to do the journey. Upon arrival in Shigatse at around 3 PM, a visit to Tashilunpo Monastery is arranged.

Day03: Shigatse to Lhasa
From Shigatse to Lhasa, it is 290 Km and the driving time is about 7-8 hours. Although it is physically exhausting, the view is fantastic. It takes you through vastness of the Tibetan Plateau, past the turquoise Lake Yamdrok –one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is situated in the Lhoka area, covers 621 square Km with the elevation of 4441 meters. This is the largest lake on the northern slope of the Himalayas.

Day04: Lhasa

Today’s sightseeing starts from Lhasa’s cardinal landmark – Potala Palace, a structure of massive portions. Its towering image already appearing on various occasions, but your first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. It takes at least a good 2-hour to visit those rooms, halls and chapels. Some 2km to the east of the Potala is the most revered religious structure in Tibet – Jokhang Temple. Bustling with worshippers and redolent with mystery, the Jokhang is an unrivalled experience. The quadrangle of streets surrounding the Jokhang is the Barkhor – Lhasa’s most interesting pilgrimage circuit. This area of the Old Town is both the spiritual heart of Lhasa and the main commercial district for Tibetans.

Day05: Lhasa – Chengdu by air

Morning is free. Afternoon transfer from your hotel to Lhasa Gong Ga Airport for flight CA 4111 taking off at 16:05 and arriving in Chengdu at 18:15. Upon arrival in Chengdu, our service is over.
