Siguniangs - Chengdu - Lhasa - Tsetang - Samye monastery - Gyangtse - Shigatse - Lhasa - Chengdu Tour Duration: 19 days in total Itinerary: Day01: Chengdu to Khamding to Xinduqiao B/L/D HOTEL Leaving Chengdu early, driving westward to Khamding, spend the night at Xinduqiao town, a town about 500 kilometers to the west of Chengdu, to get there, you should drive over several high mountain passes. Most people who love taking photos regard this place the paradise for photographer. Day02: Xinduqiao town to Litang to Haizi mountains to Sangdui to Daocheng county town B/L/D HOTEL Leaving Xinduqiao after viewing and taking photos of its morning here, drive westward to Litang, after Litang, turn south to Daocheng where you can take the grand views of sunset over the vast area. It's about 25 kilometers between Sangdui and Daocheng county-town, the views in this part is a marvelous mixture of peaceful nature and monasteries complex. Day03: Daocheng county town to Yading to Chonggu temple to Luorong ranch B/L/D TENT Leaving Daocheng earlier, after arriving in Yading nature reserve, you can choose to ride in or hike in, it's about 12 kilometers between the entrance of Yading and the Luorong ranch, you may miss a lot beauties if you ride horse in. If you hike in, it will take you around 6 hours, but you can get to your destination before sunset. At the end of the hiking are three famous mountain peaks, very impressive and pretty, one of the peaks looks like the tip of a sword.

Day04: Luorong ranch to Yading entrance to Daocheng to Litang B/L/D HOTEL
On the way to Litang, enjoy your time at Haizi mountains in the sunset's glory (Haizi mountains are the pile of remains of ancient glaciers)

Day05: Litang to Yajiang to Xinduqiao to Tagong B/L/D HOTEL
Tagong area is a very pretty place for photo taking, here is a Sakyapa monastery named Tagong monastery, behind this monastery is a huge and high mountain, in October, when snow falls on its surface, the view will surely impress you deep.

Day06: Tagong to Bamei town to Danba B/L/D HOTEL
After viewing the morning at the place, drive north ward to Bamei, visit Huilin monastery, once the 7th Dalai Lama stayed here for 7 years because of the trouble inside Tibet. After Bamei, drive to Danba, when arriving there, visit Jiagyuel Tibetan style villages and see its unique Tibetan style constructions.

Day07: Danba to Xiaojin to Rilong (Mt. Siguniang) B/L/D HOTEL
In this afternoon, visit the Shuangqiaogou valley, it is flat and wider than other tow valleys in Rilong area (Rilong became famous for its three valleys and the impressive mountain peaks, locals and people in big cities call the mountain Mt. Siguniang, the highest peak is over 6000 meters and its shape looks like the Alps in Europe)

Day08: Sightseeing in Changpinggou valley B/L/D HOTEL
Visit Changpinggou valley, then ride back to Rilong town in late afternoon. The best place to see the highest peak is at the end part of this valley, you can ride horse in, after watching it in the sunset, ride horse back to rilong town.

Day09: Rilonh to Chengdu B/L/D HOTEL
After taking the beautiful picture at Maobiliang (5-8 kilometers from Rilong town), dive over Balangshan pass back to Chengdu.

Day10: Chengdu to Lhasa to Tsetang B/L/D HOSTEL
Taking morning flight to Tibet from Chengdu. The guide in Tibet will meet you at airport, then transfer you to Tsetang, on the way, visit Yongbulakang palace before the sunset. The palace was built on the top of a hill, around it is a wide and open fertile farmland. The best time to take photos of it is in the sunset time and in the sunrise glory. After it, drive to Samye monastery which is at the north bank of the Yarlu Zangbu river. Samye monastery was built in an open area and was surrounded by peaceful and traditional villages.

Day11: Samye monastery to Qingpu medication caves B/L/D HOSTEL
In the morning, visit the monastery and taking pictures of it in the sunrise glory, then ride horse to Qingpu medication caves to feel the hard practice and their persistence in finding the truth of belif. After your visit to Qingpu, ride hose back to Samye monastery.

Day12: Samye monastery to Gyangtse B/L/D HOTEL
On the way to Gyangtse town, visit Mindorling monastery, Yangdrok lake and Karola glacier. Overlooking the Yangdrok lake at top of the Gangba-La pass, the view of the lake and the snowpeak afar are marvelous and impressive. In the late afternoon, arriving in Gyangtse, visit Perkhor Chode monastery in the sunset time.

Day13: Gyangtse to Shigatse B/L/D HOTEL
After viewing the Perkhor Chode Monastery in the morning, drive to Shigatse, you can choose when to visit this monastery because it will be early when we arrive there (the sun will be strong and not good to taking photos meeting your requirements).

Day14: Shigatse to Dazhuka Ferry to Yangbajing B/L/D HOSTEL
Drive 80 kilometers eartward, at Dazhuka Ferry, we cross the river and drive northward, this road is less traveled by tourists, the view along the road is very good; at Yangbajing, you can see magnificent snow mountains before your hostel.

Day15: Yangbajing to Dangxiong to Namtso Lake B/L/D HOTEL
Driving to Naamtso lake which is the biggest and most beautiful lake in Tibet, its water area is over 1960 square kilometers, if the weather is allowed, the views around the lake will be impressive.

Day16: Namtso lake to Lhasa B/L/D HOTEL
Leaving Namtso when you are ready, when arriving in Lhasa city, visit Tibet Museum..

Day17: Lhasa sightseeing B/L/D HOTEL
Visit Potala palace. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang temple and Parkhor street.

Day18: Lhasa sightseeing B/L/D HOTEL
Vist Drepun monastery and Sera monastery.

Day19: Lhasa to Chengdu
Fly back to Chengdu in the early morning. Finish your tour in China west (Sichuan and Tibet).
